Music
At Gorse Hill Primary School, we believe music should inspire creativity, confidence and a lifelong appreciation of sound and rhythm. Our music curriculum enables pupils to listen, perform, compose and evaluate music from a wide range of genres and cultures. Children are given opportunities to experiment with instruments, develop their understanding of pitch, rhythm and structure, and perform with confidence. Music plays a vital role in supporting wellbeing, self-expression and collaboration.
